Falafel Burger

Wonderful start into this weekend to all of you! I just looked at the food I’ve already posted on here and I’ve noticed that most of the dishes are sweet and mostly for breakfast. So I just made this post to make sure you’ll also be inspired to do other things! So here is another thing, which is of course food, I really love, haha. Falafel Burgers! Hope I can please all you vegetarians and vegans.;-) I eat it because I just love the spicy taste of it. But I do eat meat, but just not “too much”. However, know it’s time share the recipe with you!;-)

  • 1/2 Onions
  • Olive oil
  • Pinch of Sea salt
  • Pinch of Pepper
  • 130g Chickpeas
  • 20g Rice flour
  • Garlic
  • Parsley
  • Cumin
  • Avocado
  • Yogurt

The ingredients nutritious above are for to burgers the size you see them in the picture above. I’m sorry for not really giving you exact measurements of everything. The reason for that is when I cook I usually go with my gut instinct. And usually, it also changes every time I cook a dish because I try to improve etc. So I guess you have to figure it out by yourself. You can do that!;-) So first I mix the Chickpeas. But not too much, we want to keep some structure. So it will stick together in a burger later. But don’t mix the dry. Put them in the water for some hours. The best thing is when you prepare it the night before, so they’ll soak overnight. Or you buy them already in water… Then I mix the little cut onion pieces under it. Then I add the rice flour, pinch of sea salt, a pinch of pepper, garlic, parsley, and cumin. I love to experiment with adding other spices, herbs, and vegetables. So mix the mixture it good, so everything is equally spread! Press the mix into the shape you like them (thickness should be around to 2cm). And then but them in the frying pan with the olive oil. Fry them for 2 to 4 minutes on each side. For the finish I like to serve them with nature yogurt and avocados!;-) So let’s enjoy together!;-)
