Mary Poppins

I love Marry Poppins so, so much!<3 Since I’m a little girl I’m fascinated by her. I watched the Disney movie billion times and I still can’t get enough of it. My mom once told me, when I was about ten years old, that it’s originally a book and that there are more stories to it. I loved reading and I still do. But somehow I don’t want to read the books at all. Maybe I was afraid that the image I have of here will be destroyed. Doesn’t make any sense but must have been this way… Anyway, a few weeks ago I fancied watching the movie again. So I did. One week before I watched the movie about the making of the Disney movie Mary Poppins. I immediately had to look up all the songs from the movie again and listen to it. I still love the movie so, so much. The dresses, the dancing, and the singing. But what I love much more about the whole movie or the story is Mary Poppins. Mary Poppins and the person she is and what the story really wants to tell us. I wanted to be like her. Because I was kind of like her. And I still am. I always was organized and liked it clean. I like to take care of others. And I like to know things better, haha. But what I didn’t have was her style her ordinary ideas etc. And the thing I wanted the most was: I wanted to be able to slide down the banisters like her.

So here is what we can and have to learn from herL

  • Always be styled.
  • Always have a spoon of sugar with you.
  • Help others and show them your tricks.
  • Go through the life dancing and singing.
  • Help others grow.
  • Show others what love means.
  • Show that family is family and always will be it. You’ll always stay together because you love each other.
  • You can overcome every obstacle.
  • Be organized.
  • Always have a surprise by side.
  • Just be your own kind of awesome.
  • Be always conscientious but don’t forget to have fun.
  • Know when it’s time to leave and go on.
  • Leave love.
  • In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun.
