Hey, my loves. Yesterday I wrote a blog post for Kristina (you can read it here) which is kind of similar like this one. But it is in German. I made it for her because she just became a mom and hasn’t got enough time to blog plus this post relates to becoming a mom. The one I wrote for her blog relates to it much more tho.;-)
A while ago, I became a mom. I had to do a lot of research and I had to buy a couple of things in order to make it alive – my blog. My blog is my little baby and I am its mom. I know it’s a cliche thing to say. And to be honest, before I haven’t had a blog it annoyed me when blogger or vloggers said something like this. But it’s true. And let me explain why… As I said, there was a time before my blog was online, where I already started working on it. And I think it even has been about nine months, haha. I had to search for the right design, the right name, the right content. I had to buy a good camera to deliver high-quality pictures. I had to add certain features to my blog. And all this sounds much easier as it actually is. Blogging is a lot of work! And a lot of preparation is needed before you launch your blog.
Before I published my first blog post I had an idea about it must feel like to blog and to be a blogger. But it felt a hack different. My imagination of having the responsibility of a blog was totally wrong. It’s much more fun, much more exciting, much more stress, much more work, much more meaningful. The emotions are much bigger as expected. It’s like having a baby.
Looking back it’s crazy how fast my blog has grown – how fast it learned to learn to walk on his own. It’s still falling very often, but we are doing well. And thinking that the birth of my platform is just eight months ago is even crazier. And there is still a lot I have to work on. My blog has still a lot of potential and a lot of dreams to fulfill. And a having a blog that grows means nothing else that the person behind is growing. Having a blog is a chance to learn. It’s a chance to improve. It’s a chance to evolve. Yes, you could even say having a blog makes me a much more hard working, passionate, aware and loving person. Maybe just the same as if you would be a mom.
